Technical experience

Sharyn's first appointment was as a Computer Systems Officer with Telstra. This position had a number of different duties including business analysis, programming, support, training and testing. Work assignments were project-based and formed a solid foundation for Sharyn's second appointment with the Tasmanian Department of Premier and Cabinet. It was during this time that she undertook her first project management role. Sharyn then went on to manage an ISO accredited organisation, comprising several project managers, working towards the objective of achieving successful outcomes for information projects within the Tasmanian State Service.
