MFBP “Management Frameworks for Business Projects”—a course at the ANU in project management offered by the School of Management, Marketing & International Business.

MFBP framework The entire construct of definitions, theoretical concepts, models, tools and techniques that underpins MFBP. The MFBP framework has been assembled from a range of disciplines and sources—using the ITO model as a foundation.

The MFBP doesn’t provide a project management methodology—but a set of analytical tools.

Milestone An event that has been adopted for use in tracking a project’s progress. Milestones are derived analytically from the project’s workplan and are not to be confused with deadlines (which are set arbitrarily).
